JVC-Victor introduces in Japan the PICSIO GC-FM1 compact Full HD camcorder that has a similar as the Flip HD and Kodak Zi8. The PICSIO GC-FM1 is equipped with a 8 Megapixel CMOS image sensor and a 2.-inch LCD display. Like Kodak’s offering, JVC’s GC-FM1 is able to record 1080p (1440×1080) video at 30fps and 1280×720p video at 60fps. Videos are recorded in MPEG4 AVC/H.264 format.
